Straight answers
Will it scratch my furniture or skirting boards?
That is the reason the frame is silicone rather than hard plastic. It gives when it meets a table leg or a skirting board, so you can clean right up to the edge instead of steering around it.
Wet or dry — do I need different pads?
The same pads do both. Use one damp for washing and one dry for dust, or wash one and dust with the other. Two come in the box for exactly that reason.
How do I wash the pads?
Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30 °C, up to 300 cycles. Skip the fabric softener — it coats the fibres and is the usual reason a microfiber pad stops picking anything up.
Is it safe on hardwood and parquet?
Yes, with the pad damp rather than soaked. Wood and standing water do not mix, whatever mop you use; wring the pad out and the floor dries within a minute or two.
How long is the handle, and does it come apart?
